About Me
Welcome!
My name is Melissa Lynne Jones, and I am a singer, dancer, and actress based in New York City. I am a graduate of The Institute for American Musical Theatre (IAMT) where I trained under industry professionals such as Michael Minarik, Nicholas Cunningham, and Tonna Miller. Recent theatre credits include The 2022 International Tour of A Chorus Line, White Christmas with The Lexington Theatre Company, and Matilda with Saguaro City Music Theatre.

I was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. I am the youngest of six kids, and I adore spending time with my family. I fell in love with theatre when I was thirteen years old. I sang ever since I could talk, and I was extensively trained in classical jazz, musical theatre dance, and tap through middle & high school. At eighteen, I moved to New York City and began my training at IAMT.

I am extremely passionate about my faith, and love my local church (Church of The City New York). I adore kids, and I love teaching. I have been teaching dance for ten years, and vocal & acting lessons for four years. I love cooking, and dream of going to culinary school one day. My other hobbies include playing board games, reading, stitching, and puzzling!
